1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Marco Business Verification Service ("Service"), operated by Marco. By submitting information through this Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use this Service.

2. Purpose of the Service

This Service is used exclusively to verify that individuals claiming a business page on the Marco platform are legitimate owners or authorized operators of the business they are representing. It is not a general-purpose form or contact channel.

3. Eligibility

By using this Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You are the owner, authorized operator, or legally authorized representative of the business you are submitting for verification
• All information and documents you submit are accurate, current, and authentic
• You have the authority to submit the business phone number and email address provided, and you consent to receive a verification code at those contact points

4. SMS and Voice Communications

By entering a business phone number and requesting a verification code, you expressly consent to receive one SMS message or one automated voice call at that number containing a one-time verification code. This is a transactional message sent solely for identity verification purposes.

• Message frequency: one per verification attempt
• Message and data rates may apply
• Codes expire after 10 minutes and cannot be reused
• You may request a new code if the original expires

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use this Service to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
• Impersonate another individual or business
• Submit documents that have been altered, forged, or falsified
• Attempt to claim a business page for a business you do not own or are not authorized to represent
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of this Service

Violation of these terms may result in permanent disqualification from verification and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

6. Verification Decisions

Marco reserves the right to approve, reject, or request additional information for any verification submission at its sole discretion. Submission of a verification request does not guarantee approval. Decisions are based on the completeness and authenticity of the information provided.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of this Service is owned by Marco and may not be copied, reproduced, or repurposed without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

This Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Marco is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this Service, including but not limited to verification delays, technical errors, or third-party service interruptions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of this Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
